Red Worms vs Red Dirt

Test your hypothesis:

Follow along with one intrepid student as he studies the effects of using WWWR compost in a study of plant growth for his Science Fair Project.

 

First Steps:

1 - Get a worm bin;

2 - Get some shredded paper, junk mail, cardboard, whatever;

3 - Add some coconut coir for fluffiness & moisture retention;

4 - Put in some composting worms….

Here we go….

5 - Start adding food waste; fruits, veggies, rice, etc. (Avoid meat, dairy, grease, hot/spicy or acidic…..)

6 - Worm population should double every 3 months or so, and they’ll consume approximately 50% of their body weight every day - it starts to add up pretty quick!
